Erasmus + : a program for education, training, youth and sport
Erasmus + is the EU program in the fields of education, training, youth and sport for the period 2014-2020. Education, training, youth and sport can play a key role in addressing socio-economic changes, which are the main challenges Europe will face until the end of the decade, and to support the implementation of the European policy agenda for growth, jobs, equity and social inclusion.
Fighting the rise in the unemployment rate, especially among young people, has become one of the most urgent tasks for European governments. Too many young people drop out of school early, putting them at increased risk of becoming unemployed and socially marginalized. The same risk threatens a high number of low-skilled adults.
